Signing out of Windows 11 Made Easy Again

The Windows Start menu update caused a lot of reactions, but the wrong one. Recently, Microsoft made efforts to optimize the Start menu and group together the settings. Part of it, however, was hiding the sign out button behind three dots. This caused people to wonder how they can sign out of their accounts after a long day’s work. Similarly, switching of accounts from one computer to another was made difficult and caused users to call their managed IT services provider for help.

Because of the uproar caused in the feedback, Microsoft is currently creating an update that puts back the sign out button in a more visible spot. Hence, it is great news for working teams that share one computer with multiple user profiles. The update, said a managed IT services provider, would make it easier to collaborate again and even switch off after a task.  

Part of a Better Update 

Although still in the works, a managed IT services firm explains that the new update which includes the revert of the sign out button comes with more perks. Accordingly, it should have additional features such as medial controls on lock screen. This is particularly handy whenever you are trying to multitask while playing videos or music. Additionally, the new update is said to also have the function of sharing files straight from search results.

Nope, don’t go poking around your Microsoft account for these functions yet. They are still under the testing phase by Microsoft 11. However, the tech giant has announced that it will be rolled out soon.
